ShizZy
Emulator Developer
Hi Guys -
I’ve recently gotten Gekko going again. The project is now GPL-licensed and being actively worked on at http://code.google.com/p/gekko-gc-emu/, and the new website is hosted at http://6bit.net/gekko. I’ve been posting regular builds at our new forums, however most of the work that has been going on over the past months has been refactoring, restructuring, and rewriting broken and non-portable code.
That being said, I’m expecting a Linux and OSX port of the project to be available in the coming days.
We’re looking for help testing – please PM me or ping me on IRC (I’m always in #gekko, #dolphin, and #emulation64) if you are interested J . We’re also open to new developers – It’s a fun opportunity to learn about emulation and GameCube (and there are LOTS of places to make contributions, so don’t be afraid if you are new to emu programming).
Some new screenshots for fun:
Best,
ShizZy
