Problem w/ equipting

I play "Zelda-Ocarian of time" I know that I have the sling shot but for some reason I cannot equipt it.

Ive looked and can equipt my sword...just not the sling shot...

How can I resolve this issue..

Yes I use keyboard and all buttons are factory set.

All you gotta do is go to the item that you want to equip (in this case the slingshot), and press either C Down, C Left or C Right (they are assigned to the buttons around the Scroll Lock). The only items you equip by pressing A are the shield, the sword, and the tunic.
