    Laggy pokemon platinum rom

    Ok i just downloaded pokemon platinum and it lags when i walk around but when i go into battle it returns to normal speed. will someone tell me whats going on?

    My computer specs are

    SiS Mirage 3 Graphics with 1gb ram
