How to have full screen 4:3 using Rice pluigin?

I am using Rice's video plug in on a widescreen monitor and when i set the screen to 1024x768 its still widescreen is there anyway i can get it to default to 4;3 on my 16:9 monitor?

sorry, the pj64 board doesn't canter for third party plugins.
