Changing The Music in an N64 Rom?

Ok, so I backed up a few of my N64 games, and so now I have the rom files, and I was wondering if there is any way to change the music from the default stuff to reorchestrated mp3s?

If so, could somebody drop a link or give a quick explanation on how to do it?

Well, you CAN, but your processing requirements would be stupidly high and you couldn't package it in a ROM. The question has been asked time and time again unfortunately. When I say you CAN, I mean, you would have to make the tools to do it because nobody has (because its just not worth it).

Messiaen has made a good-enough attempt at editing Mario and Zelda music. Down on this page: http://sites.google.com/site/messiaen64/
