Well, there are a few ways.

One of those games is a scumm game.. so u can use scummvm

    http://scummvm.sourceforge.net

The other way is to use a progam called VMSOUND.
I can't remember the url but u should find it if u search for it on google.

U install it then right click the exe and select run with VDMS. It takes over sound control and usually allows the game to work.
It's not perfect, but it does help.

There are numerous emulators for older PC systems, Virtual PC and Bochs plus a couple more, they offer various performance / quality but if you are looking for a quick and relaible way to play old games, multiboot Dos and XP...

For the multi boot, it depends on how ol the game is. Some games refuse to run on current CPU (too fast), or are unplayable, even with moslo or CPU Killer.

You will find a good boot disk here : http://www.shinod7.com
The site is in french but the boot disk is multilanguage.

    624 ko conventionnal memory.

This disk has some drivers for recent sound cards --> SB emulation.

For older games you can use http://dosbox.zophar.net. It's hosted at zophar, but it's realy good.
286 VGA, Adlib/SoundBlaster and Dos 5 are emulated.
    Mmmh I'm thirsty.
I don't think you should drink that. It looks bad for you.
    Nonsense, it makes me feel great, smarter, more agressive. . . . I feel like I could . . . like I could . . .
