what is happening

whenever i play on the project 64 i just dowloaded, it doesnt play
i downloaded legend of zelda majoras mask and when i play it, it loads up to the nintendo 64 screen then it just stops
im new at this system and have only used the TGB dual before for gameboy
even the "FPS" stops at 59 or 60 every time
can someone help

Sounds similar to the problems in this recent thread.

Try the suggestions in this thread and see if any help.

First things first make sure you're not using an intel graphics chip.
If you are, don't panic.
Second things second... try another video plugin.
