    N64 Goldeneye

    First of all, my specs:
    1.3ghz P4 256megs/ram geforce2 gts
    xp pro

I know this is a known issue, but I would think that 1.3ghz would be enough to run Goldeneye at full speed... but, apparently it's not. I am thinking about buying a new computer soon and I was wondering what speed is needed to run the game at full speed? Has anyone had success with this?

Also, has anyone had trouble getting other emulators to load roms in windows xp... It seems like most of them can't read the files for some reason

With your specs, they're kinda good...
At least don't upgrade the CPU, that'd waste of money.
And ge runs very slow, maybe even on your specs (I never tried myself), but as he said, try 1964.
