    Frame rate expectations

Sorry if this has been answered earlier...opr in the faqs...but I aint seen anything...anyways

What sort of framerates are you guys expecting/getting on some of the "newer" games....

    My system:
    P4 1.9ghz
    Nvidia geforce4mx
    320mb
    win xp pro
    PJ 1.4, latest rdb, gfx=jabos, sound, Azimer's 0.4 beta

Conkers : mostly sticks around 56-60fps, but drops to like 20 at seemingly random times [I may have missed something in the gamefaq on this, as it seems to pause everynow and again, with the fps dropping right down, and then coming back up]

Jet force G (cracked) : mosty sticks at a pretty unplayable < 20 fps

Donky Kong : between 50-60 fps most of the time

Sin and punishment : 57-60 pretty solid

Zelda MM : 50-60 pretty solid

Pretty much all of the older games are solid at 57-60

    What is everyone else getting.

CBFD slows down every now and then, I think it happens when new background music is played (mp3 decompression).

From what I remember, speech decoding and scene changes were the only significantly skippy times I remember in CBFD.

Just standing there, listening to the music doesn't skip here but it does skip whenever something new [or discarded] is about to pop [back] into view.
