The Games That Pushed The Limits Of The NES

I don't know if the order has any significance, but Kirby's Adventure does belong at the top of the list imo. Amazing looking game for the NES.

I think so too. Several years ago I saw my nephew playing that game and I couldn't figure out why his SNES looked so much like a NES.

THAT'S the top ten NES games? Battletoads, Crisis Force and that Recca game graphics are average for 8-bit. Where the hell is Snake Rattle and Roll? It has one of the best visual/audio qualities and it doesn't even get a mention. What about the Ninja Gaiden series? Although they overdid the 1st one and it's obvious as a failed-attempt to achieve trippy graphics by how grainy they look, but it's good for its time and should get at least 3rd place. As far as music goes, what about Lagrange point, Ninja Gaiden, Kabuki quantum fighter? Great graphics, awesome music.

It's cool that they mentioned Wurm tho, as its an obscure/underrated game and I had no idea anyone besides me knew of it.

The graphics in some of the NES games provided resemble not so good looking SNES games.

I always thought Gargoyles Quest 2 was rather spiffy.
