Question Problems with PokemonSnap? I be Noob.

I'm pretty new at this emulation stuff. The links in the sticky that is supposed to help don't work, so I suppose that leaves me with posting my problem. :[

I have the newest version of Project64 that was released to the public, I think. There was something about not releasing a '7-something' one to people who weren't a member of whatever it was. I can't really remember.

Either way, I downloaded PokemonSnap, a game I played as a kid. It all works up until I have to select which photos to send to Professor Oak. The photos don't appear in the squares they should, but flash quickly in the top lefthand corner as you pass by them.

Like I said, I'm new at this stuff, and the links are down so I don't know what updates are what. Do I just need to download something for it? Or put different settings? I've played SuperMario64 on it and it worked perfectly.

    Thanks :]

Ah, if I had a penny for every time this question was asked, I'd have quite a few pennies. I'll refer you to this thread. (You can search for "pokemon snap" to find others if that one doesn't meet with your approval.)

That game doesn't quite work right anyway, with ANY emulator, as far as I know. Sure it works and all, but you notice that when taking pictures the camera doesn't "activate" like it did on the console? This makes it impossible to take pictures of signs, so you can't get to that rainbow level. I think it's being worked on for version 1.7, but that's a ways off as far as I know.

I have to disagree, Paper Mario happens to work [near] perfectly on Project64. With the right graphics plugin, of course.

Pokemon Snap is a completely different beast, however.

Oh what do you use? I find myself to be a bit of a regular with Direct64

Glide64 Napalm with the latest Glide3x wrapper. No other plugin comes even close.

Oh yes I don't often use gilde64 most of the games I play don't really need it but I suppose it's allways a good thing to maybe try again with.
