    N64 Project 64 problems

Project64 usually ran fine, but it seems that since I upgraded my graphics card, it doesn't run.
As soon as I run Project64, I get two error messages telling me about invalid memory, and it fails to even load the ROM selection window. I attempted to reinstall, but still no luck. Could someone help me out?

Sounds like a bad graphics card driver.

    Can you update it?

    What graphics card is it?

nVidia GeForce 8400GS, I used the drivers that came with it. I'll update to the latest, and post back.

I wouldn't have thought that bad drivers would prevent it from actually starting.

    Edit:
I installed the latest drivers - still no luck

    I don't use 1.7, I use 1.6.

Yep, I updated just before posting about it here.

    @X-fi6:
    Failed to allocate memory
I get that error twice, one after the other - then pj64 closes.

    Some generic advice:

    1. Uninstall your current graphics drivers via Add/Remove Programs.
    2. Restart PC.
    3. Run DriverCleaner Pro to clean out anything left over: [Here]
    4. Run CCleaner (Registry Cleaner Option) just to be sure. [Here]
    5. Reinstall the latest official drivers from the NVIDIA homepage for your card.
    6. Uninstall PJ64 via Add/Remove Programs.
    7. Reinstall PJ64 with latest updates.

Are you sure you're not using anything that came with PJ64 1.7?

Use Jabo's 1.6 graphics plugin, and any audio/RSP/input plugins you want that didn't come with 1.7.
