Problems with Trio Linker Plus II and Dualshock 2

Hello.
I got myself a Trio Linker Plus II from Play Asia. Works like a charm together with my Dualshock 2 controller in Zsnes. However, Project 64 seems to get all buggy when I have my Dualshock controller connected. My biggest problem is that neither Jabo's nor N-rage's plugin let me configure my gamepad. The device shows up in the menu, but the input is not registered when I push the buttons. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and maybe a solution too? I'd really appreciate it.

Edit: Problem solved. Apparently the problem lies with the producers software. After I uninstalled it the N-rage-plugin works, but not the Jabo plugin.
