Problem with Turok Dinosaur Hunter
What's up all, for some reason, every time I attempt to play Turok in PJ64, it always freezes about 10-15 minutes into the game no matter which level I attempt to start on. I've tried different version's of the rom, I've tried different graphic plugins, it even does this on 1964, I just can't figure out what's wrong with the damn thing. It started doing this on my old PC about 2 years ago, and now it's still messed up on my new one. I really wanted to try to beat this game before the new Turok came out just for fun, so I figured I'd ask on here and see if anyone else has had this problem and might know how to fix it. No other game I've tried does this, so I'm clueless at this point. Here are my specs:
2.8ghz Pentium D (Dual Core) Processor
ATI Radeon X1300 Series

Also, it does this with and without cheats enabled.

Nope, it's the legit Project 64, I dl'd from their site. I've tried different versions of the ROM from Fserves, XDCC, and web sites, all do the same thing. I haven't tried any other emulators besides Project 64 and 1964, guess I'll try and use Glide64.

change the counter-factor to 1. If the game freezes again, switch it back to 2.
