Several rom files - what to do?

Alright, I've extracted a rom's files to a folder on the Desktop. There are several files, having .z64 extensions. I've tried commands like "make" and "makefile" but nothing works. What am I supposed to do with the (about) 10 .z64 files?

Are these romfiles revisions of the same game or what?

    There are 21 files.
8 of them say "Nintendo All-Star!"
The other 13 say "Super Smash Bros."

Of course, I downloaded "Super Smash Bros.", and I don't know what the 8 that aren't Super Smash Bros are, but I hope that answers you.

Does one of the Smash Bros rom files end with (U) [!]? Is so, keep it and ditch the rest. What you most likely have is a archive containing all known rom dumps of Super Smash Bros. What you are interested in is the US/NTSC version. Everything else is trivial unless you must have the european and the japanese versions as well.

"Nintendo All-Star Dairantou Smash Brothers" is the japanese name for Super Smash Bros.

P.S. I don't know why you would need to use make and or the makefile, since those are only needed when compiling programs.
