    Jabo's Direct3D6 1.40

hello, my project64k emu uses Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 perfectly, but it wont let me use netplay with it, it only allows Jabo's Direct3D6 1.40 (or Jabo's Direct3D7 1.40) which doesnt work for my laptop, becuase i get an error that says:

"Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0"

    "failed to initialize graphics"

my graphics card is a ATI Mobility Radeon 7500

    specs:
    Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R)
    4 - M CPU 1.90GHz
    755 MHZ, 512mb of RAM

does anyone here know how to fix this problem? or what different plugin i can use that works with Project64k? please help!

Personally for netplay, Project64k is not that good for N64 games.

okaygo made a netplay version of Mupen64 (entitled Mupen64k), which works quite well with SSB and Goldeneye, and its plugin support is much better than PJ64k. You can try that

After copying your Jabo's Direct3D8 to the plugins folder, rename the plugin to the same name as the Jabo's Direct3D6 and delete the actual 3D6 plugin. Pj64k loads the plugins Jabo_Direct3D7.dll for video and AudioHLE.dll for audio, so you gotta rename the plugins you wanna use to these names and delete the old ones.

mudlord: i cant find a download link for mupink 64k

Ma Chao: i renamed the Jabo_Direct3D8 to Jabo_Direct3D6 and deleted the original and it still sees the Jabo_Direct3D8 as Direct3D8 1.6 and wont load netplay (netplay gets greyed out when i open up a rom), is there something im doing wrong here?

Did you rename to Jabo_Direct3D7.dll or Jabo_Direct3D6.dll? Jabo_Direct3D7.dll is the correct. If you renamed it to Jabo_Direct3D6.dll, netplay will crash because it can't find Jabo_Direct3D7.dll. And it'll still show as Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 in your plugin list even after renaming it, but that's the one it'll load when start netplay.
