Exclamation Rice Video Screws up Windows

First off, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, and sorry if this has been touched on before, I searched but didn't find anything.

Anyway, whilst using Rice's video plugin, (6.1.1 Beta 10 right now) the game works fine. However, after playing for a while, windows is fubard. (I can't figure out what makes it do that, if I play for 2 minutes, nothing goes wrong.) But after say, 30 mins or playing, I cannot click on anything. The focus is stuck on the emulation. Even if I close PJ64. Fullscreen or not. I have to hit Alt+Tab. Then, other things are messed up, such as I can't drag and drop icons. Certain window buttons can't be clicked, and other annoyences. This continues till I restart the whole computer.
Somtimes alt+tab won't even help. I'm just stuck looking at the emulator. But the comp isn't frozen.

It doesn't matter what emulator I use, or settings (that I know of.)
Oh yeah, and is there a way to hide the cursor?

Anyone have this happen? Anyone know a fix?
    Thanks.

Are you able to recreate the problem? When it occurs again try restarting explorer.exe with the task manager and/or kill the process of PJ64.

nope tried that already too. It keeps happening after about 10 mins of playing, and I have to manually close PJ64 with task manager.

I was thinking about retexturing, but this is only raising my blood pressure

    Ugh...

If its causing that much trouble for you, don't use it!

If you are getting that pissed off over it, just don't bother with it.
    Simple >.>

No, you are not. UYou can try a build of Glide64 that has support for high resolution textures though. I don't know how well that works, I haven't tried.

I could be wrong, but the the problems you are having might be attributed to wrong framebuffer emulation settings.

Try changing your resolution in graphic plugin>general options. I used to have the same problem with crashing on 1280x1024. I fixed it by setting it to 1024x768.
