.ISO taking a while with Dolphin 1.03

I directed Dolphin to the folder that has the ISO in it.

The game is in the list, but it says "Unknown Country Code" (Just thought you might like to know)

But the point is, When I start the game, it puts the "booting" box up, but it's been minutes and minutes and the game hasn't loaded.

    Did I do something wrong?

    Thanks guys,

    Captain Blade

(I hope my post isn't against the rules, sorry if it is)

Don't expect GameCube emulation to be speedy. Read the stickied FAQ for your own good.

Does it take 10 minutes for everyone else? (It never loaded though because I gave up and closed) (No harsh tone intended in the previous sentence, I understand it's just a hobby and is not perfect, and also think you guys did a great job on the project) Just wondering, because if it doesn't take quite that long, (even if it does take minutes) I may have assembled my .ISO incorrectly...

The emulator does not play games well yet and there is no point to even try using it at this time.

What he's trying to say is that some games just do not work. It is possible the boot code is stuck in a loop waiting for hardware to initialize, a likelyhood is the sound chip which is more or less undocumented but alot of games wait for certain responses and get stuck in a loop waiting on the responses. On Gekko, we patch around such loops until we can fix the sound emulation code itself after figuring out what in the world it should do (again, undocumented chip, undocumented instructions, etc).
If you do not push the limits then you do not know what limits exist.

Just be satisfied with what your getting, it makes no sense to rush to perfection
    just to achieve nothing.
