To me, the default Jabo's Direct3D 8 1.6 works just fine.![]()
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ @ 2.11GHz :: 2GB PC2-5300 RAM @ 669MHz :: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT @ 512MB DDR2 ::
Realtek ALC888 7.1HD Audio :: 250GB SATA HDD @ 7200RPM :: DirectX 9.0 :: USB 2.0 x7
Such a question is sort of like asking what the best vehicle is for driving in the U.S. You have decent hardware for N64 emulation, so it depends on what game (and what part of that game) you're playing for the most part. Unless you have a reason to change them, just stick with the defaults.
Easy, Project64 team recommends Jabo's Direct3D 8, so running unopposed.
You don't need a best plugin, even if there was one. You ask for problems with games; we'll tell you what plugin to use, but it's not going to be the same every time.
First Mr. Clast, then Clasty, then Icono (which sounds tired and lazy), then IC by some annoying kid abbreviating everyone's names down to two letters copying that off of meGasp, then Iconclast, and now squall thinks I'm Santa Claust!
i spelt it wrong,
