I don't think Chankast will have another release. It seems all the developers have gone somewhere. Maybe nullDC will have netplay in a future release. nullDC is a newer emulator with better compatibility, but the requirements are a teensy bit higher than Chankast.

A Dreamcast emulator that is widely considered to be the best at the moment.
