About time ATI.

The only forum I have more than 1,000 posts on! weeeeeeee bleep.
Wow, The 8800GTX is better than the x2900XT in almost everything, price not being one of them...
I didn't have exactly time to read everything, but I did look at the benchmarks.
the X2900XT is meant to take on the 8800GTS. Once the X2900XTX comes out, then it can be compared to the 8800GTX
Didnt appear to take on the 8800GTS very well. I mean, the 8800 GTS beat ATI at its own game of Open GL. Though for some reson, didn't do as well with direct 3d. Oddly enough...
Im sorry, Im just a huge nvidia fan.
Are you trying to imply that ATI are typically better than nvidia for opengl? It has been my experience to be the opposite![]()
Geez these new cards are almost as big as my ****! LOL!
with that aside, as long as ATI can keep up with quality driver development (LOL - this is what drove me to using older drivers for my MR9700) then it's a worthy competitor to the GF8. Until then, ATI's software engineers are synonymous with crap.
