    Logitech Rumblepad 2 sentivity...

    Hey guys,

I've searched as best as I could before posting this. I'm having issues with with analog sensitivity. I've messed with the range and deadzone settings a ton and they dont fix it. Basically my analog stick is acting as the directional pad... any input on the stick no matter how small, is either on/off... full move/no move. Like playing goldeneye for example, if I move the stick just a tiny bit, nothing happens... slowly move it to the half way point, and then my crosshairs jump to the far direction I pushed.

I couldnt get the controler working with the default plugin so I installed N-rage and now the buttons work fine, Im just having this sentivity issue.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

    Chris

I have the same gamepad and I use N-Rage as well, yet I've never had any such problems that you describe.

Is the Mode light lit? If it is, turn it off.

Turning the mode light off and on only changes between the two configs for the analog stick.... annnnd i just went and changed config 2 and shut the mode button off and it works. OK im confused now... Changing the 2nd config to the exact same up down left right with the pad actually has two different settings. on config 1 it changes to POV ^ V < or >... on the config 2 it becomes the X or Y axis...

So the only problem now is that i think my stick is uncentered because my little zelda is spinning in circles But there is definitely sensitivity now.

Can someone explain the difference between the 2 analog configs... why they get different inputs from the same setup? And what the mode button does on the controler?

Weird, I'm using N-Rage's as well and I'm actually using a Logitech Wireless Rumblepad 2 as well (ah, it's kinda big and clunky but feels oh-so comfortable).

Anyways, the analogs are working perfectly for me. Try pressing the Analog button on the controller a few times or replace the batteries with fresh ones from Duracell / Energizer.

    Also, try using both this:

    and this:

Note that the second link is an overhaul that a different guy continued and it's still a bit buggy even though he completed it.

this is how the control works

the control has 2 modes for the analogue stick
    analgue, and digital

in digital mode, the Stick works exactly the same as the Dpad (it reports as POV up down left right.. etc

in analogue mode, it works as it should and will report the axis's when configured.

don't worry, this little issue happens alot.

also, the bugs in 2.0 are slowly getting sorted.

to the OP, now you've got the axis working properly, you need to calibrate the control in game controllers.
