    OOT save problem

I've been playing The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time on PJ64 recently, but I've been irritated as it never saves properly.

I spend ages getting to inside the Deku Tree, saving, but then opening up again later inside the Kokori forest with all my progress lost.

Is there any way I can fix this?

This is how is supposed to work, as this is how the game works on the real console. When you save your game as young Link, you will always end up back in Kokiri Forest when you load your game.

When you save your game as adult Link, you will always in the Temple of Time.

IIRC, the only exception to this is when you save in a dungeon, in a room just before a boss.
