    Windows Live Messenger smileys backup

    I need a program for making a backup of my smileys and display pictures, and install them again in another PC with their respective shortcuts. In other words an smiley / display picture importer and exporter for Windows Live Messenger. Do you know anything about guys?

    Plus! backs up most smileys, though it doesn't save the animated ones correctly.

    Didn't know Messenger Plus! do that. However I need something that saves all the smiley correctly, including the animated ones. Messenger Plus nowadays is a huge memory sucker.

    I've often wondered myself. Perhaps it's possible to copy the folder in %appdata% for messenger to a new computer. Give it a try and see if it works.

    Carpets? hmmm you should stop using that weird spanglish.

    Carpet = Alfombra o Tapete
    Folder = Carpeta

    Anyway give it a good check when i have to backup my mails from outlook express i have to get in the identities folder and get into folders with lots of weird numbers you just have to know the right files.

    each "carpet" number is tied to an username, find yours and back it up.
