    Skies of Arcadia

I'm having trouble with the Echelon version of this game. I just get a black screen after the famous "echelon config screen". I've tried both CPU modes and both video plugins.

    My specs:

    Athlon XP 2000+
    Geforce FX5200 128/64
    348 ram

I'm asking for help because the compatibility list says its playable

I have a patched version of the Echelon SOA, and it works fine. Check out the "How to make Skies Of Arcadia playable" thread in the Chankast forums for the SOAPatcher program.

I can also report that the "full" NTSC version works without any crashes. In Chankast it would always display a black screen after exiting a menu, or trying to enter a location from the airship, or getting into a random battle in the Airship. The sound is still off (understandably, this is the first public release after all), and the text is garbled and missing some characters.
