How do i load saves?

im currently using the PJ64 v1.6 and ive found the quick save thing but that crashes.i found my save games but i dont know how to load them up can someone please help me i love mario 64 and i used to have it so help me please!!!

F5 saves, F7 loads. It is always better to use the game's own save feature, but then again, the game doesn't save your exact position, just your overall progress.
