Ok I have an extensive library of GC games and I have heard that this emulator can read hard copies. So how do I do it? I have inserted my Gamecube games in the my disc drive but nothing. Please any help would be appriciated.

PC optical drives cannot read GC discs due to a protection measure implemented on them. Discussion of ripping GCM images from the discs for use with Dolphin is a legal grey-area in many countries, so is not discussed in the forums.

Indeed. If you search, you should find some information on how to rip GCMs. I am not going to tell you for reasons Clements mentioned, though.
