Another rice video plugin problem

I just downloaded RiceVideo 6 Beta 10and BMGlib.dll and here's the problem...

Project64.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because bmglib.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Then...

Failed to load plugin:
C:\Documents and settings\wayne\My Documents\Plugin\RiceVideo.dll

Can somebody help?

You need to put the Bmglib.dll is the emulator folder, not in the Plugin.

I didnt see that u have to put BMGlib.dll in its folder but thanks

now i got another problem

i used all the info from thenomercyzone on how to set it up but i keep getting rainbow colors and black screens all the time.

How should I fix all this?

Well, what are your computer specs, more specifically your video card?

im not sure but i own an Intel Pentium 4 Processor.

Where can I pinpoint my video card info?

Run dxdiag. Check the Display tab.

I have an Intel 82845G Graphics Controller.

You will get problems with that chip, because quite frankly it sucks so bad that it's not even worth mentioning.

Meddle around with the settings (long shot, most likely won't help much) or use Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin.

No. You need to use Rice's plugin for that. Although the next version of Jabo's plugin supports hi-res textures, it won't work with your graphics chip any better.

If you donate to the Project64 team, you can get access to the Project64 1.7 beta which includes the new Jabo's plugin. Otherwise you'll have to wait for a public release.
