Loading real games

Is it possible to play games through chankast from real tangible Dreamcast Disks. When I try and load one it opens it as a music CD and says there is no disk. Is there anything else I have to download or use to get this to work?

CD drives cannot read GD-ROMs (which is what format DC games are on). The data of the GD is to close together for the CD laser to interpret the data. If you look around, there are CD drives that can rip the GD-ROM to a CD image, but it requires not only the correct firmware, but it also requires a modification of the actual CD drive itself (hardware modification). But even then, the answer is still no. Even with that method, it's only good for ripping games, becaues it reads far to slowly for a game to actually run off of it.
