I'm using Project 64 to emulate Zelda 64 - Majora's Mask...and after I enter my character name...well, that's as far as I guess it feels like taking me!The screen just goes black and won't do anything, can someone please help me? Thanks.

Could you include your system specs? (see my sig for example)
Socket 423 Pentium 4 @ 1400 Mhz - 400MHz FSB
GeForce 3 TI 200 4xAGP w/64mb DDR, overclocked to 250 core/550 DDR

30 GB Maxtor Ultra DMA 100 HD
USB Logitech Wingman Rumblepad
1Mbit cable connection / 100MBit LAN

Alright, I've got:
Pentium 4 @ 1.6 Ghz
GeForce 2 MX200 AGP Graphics
128MB DDR Memory
20 GB 5M Ultra ATA HD
56K (hush) dial-up connection
Windows XP Home Edition
Can you help me from that?
Hmmm your specs look fine. What plugins are you using? Try using these if you can:
Jabo's D3D7 1.40
Jabo's Directsound 1.40
N-Rage's input (whichever version is newest)
Socket 423 Pentium 4 @ 1400 Mhz - 400MHz FSB
GeForce 3 TI 200 4xAGP w/64mb DDR, overclocked to 250 core/550 DDR
512 MB PC133 SDR SDRAM

Windows 2000 Pro
SiliconGraphics 24-inch Trinitron monitor
Well, I just downloaded the most recent (I'm guessing) version of PJ64 from www.emulation-zone.com, it came with the following files in the Plugin folder:
Adaptoid v1.0
Jabo DInput
Jabo Direct3D6
Jabo Direct3D7
Jabo DSound
No Sound
NRage DInput8
RSP
Zilmar Audio
I haven't modified the contents of the Plugin folder at all, anything I should need to have to make it run properly? Thanks for listening.
Get the latest RDB file and see if that helps. It's in the first post of one of those stikey threads
You have the right plugins, but are they selected in PJ64? (Options->Settings->Plugins)

What version of Zelda do you have? If you don't know, download GoodN64 (you can get it from www.smiff.clara.net under utilities / rom utilities I believe) If, after the renaming, it says it's either [B] , [H] , or [F] you have a bad rom... try downloading the game from elsewhere (don't ask from where in the boards, we've a nasty rule we have to follow) and if it's 1.2 then... you'll have to download another version, preferably 1.0 (this version gives very little problems)
Thanks for the advice guys, I think I'll just try to find another copy. Heheh, I know all about the nasty rule too, I'm not dumb enough to ask about that. As for what TK64 said...aren't the plugins supposed to be selected by default? It seems kind of silly that they wouldn't be...
