    What is the diffrence between a Iso and PAL

    Ive seen these two types up for psx games i know anow about Isos but what is PAL? is it a type of iso?

    you've seen files with a PAL extension?

    since PAL normally refers to the TV standard for Europe.

    PAL just means that it is the Australian/European version of the game. The releases are usually different from the US and Jap versions, mainly having more language options, but sometimes there are much bigger differences.
