hey man, this site support piracy. I think that 90% of the emutalk members can be banned in Emuforums. Everyone here break the rules.

It dosen't support piracy. wat this site is about is geting info to use your own created roms, not the illegal obtaind ones. the problem is that there is no way for EmuTalk to know the origen of your files, but we dont suport illegal roms and we dont give info on how to get them. it's as much as a forum can make.

It is very rare that a person here gets away with breaking the forum rules (especially ban-worthy offenses). I'd agree that many people here probably participate in illegal activities outside the forums, but a forum is only responsible for what takes place inside of it. I find it funny that you say EmuTalk is a piracy support site when something as simple as asking where to download copyrighted ROMs will get you banned. How does that support piracy?

EDIT: linkcanabico gives a good explanation.

there are a lot of threads like "I downloaded XXX game but I can't get it to work". Yeah, they don't say where to get the game, but they can't get all the downloaded games to work, piracy sucks, bad roms, bad images, virus. If you say that you are right, try to make your fucking threads in emuforums or dcemu and you will be banned. Reasons? piracy, you are kid/retarded or you can't read.

We don't care how people acquire their roms, and there's nothing wrong with saying that you've download one, a hundred, thousands...(though bragging is considered bad form). We don't allow links or requests, and we discourage the discussion of back-up devices.

Ideally, everyone would dump their own carts, but we all know that's never going to happen. It's not as if the necessary equipment is easy to find anyway.
