What's behind your nickname???

just wondering... what's the story behind your screen name, or why are you called what you are?

as for me, Yegosimo is my artistic name, i made it up like a year ago.
it comes from the first two letters of my favorite music groups in that time, i'm not going to tell you which are they, but you can guess who they are by looking at my avatar...

so what about you guys ??

That's a tricky question... When it comes down to it i chose A.I. cos it sounded alot better than my former name, Blind One, which i chose on whim after i got hooked playin Turok:Rage Wars. After i got bored with Rage Wars (fast!) i discovered the joys of Perfect Dark and suddenly 'Blind One' didn't seem so fashionable anymore. I wanted something sci-fi, something hi-tek so since A.I. was one of my favourite movies i picked it. I changed 'intelligence" to 'IQ' to be more original.

The good thing with my name is i can put any pic of a robot (Or a politician) and it will still be relevant. As you can see by my avatar i like robots and the concept of A.I fascinates me. I'm still, however, looking for the perfect name; my soul name. When i find it the question of who i am will be answered. Until then I.m A.I. or IQ or Art or Arty, whatever just don't call me Blind One!

Incidently A is also the first letter of my real name and no its not Agozer!

BTW is it a concidence this thread appeared after i changed my name?

The tale behind my name is not for the weakhearted, one morn I woke up and a scroll was left on my door. "if you seek a name you must use the magic stick to find me" with the magic stick attached to the scroll. I was a bit skeptical at first but when I picked the stick up it pointed me north. I followed the stick for days walking and walking and walking and finally I was at the top of the largest mountain in Scotland.

"So you seek a name for yourself do you?" a wise man said. I replied "yes" very well... so he threw a sword at me and challenged me to a battle! First I used my MP to cast lightning on him. I couldn't do bugger all else until it was my turn again. He struck me and I lost 5 HP. I finally defeated him after 50 long turns which I spent most of the time casting cure on myself.

"You have what you seek" the crazy wise man said... and "ScottJC" I was from then on there.

Scott is my first name, J is my middle initial and C is the first letter of my last name. You decide which story is better - I thought just posting the previous sentence would've been boring.

Just a nickname I was toying around with. My name is Stephan and as you probably know now my nick is Stez just added an o on the end and it was around 2000 when I started registering for forums and such like so thus the 2k. And It stuck ever since

Mine is actually a nickname given to me by friends years ago for being a Gentleman.
My Nick was originally The Gentleman here ET and later on i changed it for Gent which is short for Gentlemen and also a wonderful Town in Belgium that i adore.

I can't really remember what possessed me to choose Toasty. I think I had eaten toast recently or something and it was the first thing that popped into my head. It grew on me a bit and now I use it in a couple other forums though.
