    Vibrating mouse?

I was wondering if any of you guys have heard of a mouse (Not the furry kind!) capable of force feedback. I saw two advertised on the net and thought they look promising for games and browsing porn sites!

Um, if you know any physics, you can easily make a vibrator. Its a simple motor with the shaft on an uneven axis of rotation, and the vibration is the compinsation of the uneven center of gravity.

Well, the technology looks interesting. Immersion reckons force feedback will benefit people who are visually impaired (Or extremely drunk) Imagine being blind (Non liquid state) and able to know what objects you're clicking on and where you are on the screen just from the subtle vibrations you feel - it would totally add another dimension and obviously you don't have to be blind to benefit from the experience. I guess you would also need a brail keyboard to access the data and force feedback could also be incorporated into that as well. Really, there's no limit to this technology, the possibilities are limitless.

    Force feedback condoms anyone?

Well obviously you can turn off the force feedback function if you want to.
It would be perfect for FPS games. Apparently, it supports a few older FPS games like Unreal and B&W and i think it can simulate feeback through sounds/bass for all non supported games. Hello Goldeneye and Perfect Dark?It would be a perfect combo - You'd have the control of the mouse and the force feedback of a controller. You could adjust it so the mouse vibrates really hard and you lose control to add to the realism or config it to softer settings. Whatever, its up to you.

I predict in ten years time every mouse, keyboard even touch screens will have force feeback comptability as standard features. The world of audio/visual is expanding. Force Feedback is becoming the norm. Smell will become the next dimension to be explored. They already got a printer which can produce smells from special chemicals. Talking shit on the net will never be the same again!

I like the vibrator theory... That'd be it's real use.

I still think that the sense of touch, or the sence of actually shooting the gun in an FPS is the next dimension. Like the wii, and thats only the first attempt. I mean it would be cool to be able to smell the smoke in call of duty, or smell the sewers in half life, and of course banjo kazooie would be a very intresting game to play with a smell device.
