You're not likely to find an Adaptoid at any store, including ztnet. There's the ebay option, but you'll pay a premium price for it. Far more common is the Boom adapter (see sticky at the top of this forum). It's a substandard product unfortunately, but it is cheaper. N64 pads can still be purchased at Nintendo's online store.

Is there any way to get an Adaptoid besides E-Bay because the ones on E-Bay are 75$/125$?

The boom works very well for the most part. The only trouble I've had is my ps2 controller sometimes stops working, but that's because the wire is pulled out of the controller a little. Other than that I've had no problem, though it won't give you rumble/mempack support.

Also, you have to recalibrate whenever you switch from psx to n64 or vice versa. Still not a big deal, just kind of an annoyance since you can't save your calibration (you can in linux, but I play all my emulators in windows).

The boom adapter is by lik-sang and you can get it for $10 there. However, they're based in Hong Kong, so the shipping is expensive unless you're over there. People on ebay resell it. I got mine for $14 including priority shipping USPS. Search on ebay for "n64 usb" and see if you see an auction by "cooljazzi" or something like that.

    Try the N-Rage Input plugin.

Jabo is the one that's used in project64k online, so I use that. N-Rage V1 is my favorite, but I use Jabo in 1964 too so I can use the controller saves I have (I have different button setups for different n64 games for psx controller). However, N-Rage supports mouse, so if you need that use V1.

Yes, you can update it. Right-click an entry in the Cheat window.
