    Trouble with Mario 64

    Hello,

I am playing Mario 64 (with 1964 of course) on my dell laptop. I beat the game, but it froze on the last screen (mario with the cake). It did not allow me to save. so whenever I open the game back up its like I never beat it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    System specs:

    800 MHz Pentium 3
    512 megs of ram
    Win2k Pro

It doesn't let you save, if I remember correctly

    Here ya go:

GFX card: ATI Mobility Radeon AGP with 16 megabytes of ram
Sound card: Crystal WDM Audio Codec
    Drivers:
    GFX: Rice's Daedalus 5.2.0
Sound: schibos Audio Plugin 1.2 based on UltraHLE
    Input: Jabo's DirectInput7 1.5
    RSP plugin: None

Also a better question to ask might be what is supposed to happen when you beat Mario 64, becuase I've only ever beat it playing it on the pc. I don't actually have an N64, although I do own the cartridge.

This is the exact behavior of the real N64.
