Best emu for extracting game resources

I've been using 1964 for a couple weeks to extract textures and would like to eventually try to extract 3D models and anything else I can get my hands on (it's all just for fun).

Forum searches bring up info on nemu as well and I see that there are a a bunch of other emulators as well.

    Given that I'm:
    a) Just extracting resources - not modding them and putting them back in
    b) Not interested in quality of game play - just extracting

Is there a "best" emu? Or maybe different ones have particular strengths and weaknesses as far as extracting goes?

Thanks. One of my searches led to dextrose.com so I'll poke around there as well.

    Dan

I would prefer 1964. It works pretty good and uses the same plugins as nemu but runs more stable and much faster.
There should be several (or at least one) tutorials here on the forum.

Thanks. I've grabbed a ton of textures already and saw a tutorial on extracting models (or was that nemu?) so I'll be keeping busy.
