    Weird Issue

How in the world do you know when someone in the community (or any Internet community) dies? or it happenned something really bad to him? I mean when there's no phone or other kind of contact with it, friends or family?

    You can always search.

Send PMs, ask to other persons in the same community about the person you're looking for, look for more info about him on internet... there's a plenty of things you can do. It would be even more easier if the person you're looking for is an important member (staff member, coder, etc).

And for last instance, you can post a thread about this matter, can't you?

Yeah, he can contact me, or any other person that knows you. If we'd know about your absence, we'll tell him. Just hope that absence is not because of your death.

In Cyberspace no one can hear you scream... I guess that also applies if you die! It's juz weird to think we're still communicating (In this forrum) via the written word like people have been doing for centuries, only that the technology has changed and you can add smiley faces and all that but really in principle nothing has changed.

We're all still hiding behind our words using them to bloat our egos and inflating our fantasies; living in our own world, existing in our imaginations.

Yeah, just the way I like it...

That's my deep message for today.

That situation happened in two forums I was a member.
On the first one, the dude who died was a programmer, IIRC. Then the emu crew came over the forum and told that he passed away. (or something like that... I remember that I had even posted on that thread).
The second case was easier, cause two friends were using the same account. Then of them died, the other explained the situation (that they had the same account, blah blah) and every gave them condolences, etc.

Torek, if the person has an email, you could send him an email and wait for an answer. XD Ok, if he's dead, you can wait for someone else reply it.
