banner thingy

i was wandering around and noticed that many ppl had of these things which i don't know its name:

that's an example, and ppl had some like "Windows hater" or "Sex addict" and they put them all together and included them in their sigs
what's the name of these little banner thingys or w/e
i wanna make some of my own

I like those things too and never knew what they were called. Perhaps I shall add one to my sig too, as they don't hog too much space.

Yeah, they're actually pretty good. How do you like my custom made Emutalk userbar? I haven't found a single Emutalk userbar so i thought I would make one.

There is such a thing as too many userbars you know, and your sig is a bit too large imo. Look at toasty's sig, he only has to use the space of one user bar and it switches between what he uses.

Ya, I'm using 1280x1024 and it still takes up way too much screen area. Use Toasty's method.
