Conkers Config Problem

Just discovered the joys of mulitplay in Conkers - its awesome! That said I had some trouble trying to config the controller. I used my 'golden eye config' which works fine except for the up/down contols which are used to aim.

Unfortunately there is no reverse up/down config in the game options, infact apart from cheats and the sound settings there is no config settings at all! So I tried to reverse up/down on the Config 1 settings in N-Rage. Athough this fixed the aim problem it also reversed the forward/backward camera but somehow didnt reverse the forward/backward movement. However, ( And this is the weird part) if Conkers is without a weapon the forward/backward contols become inactive and only become active again when you reload your weapon.



I suspect its something to do with the reverse camera screwing up the controls cos I've succesfully used the reverse up/down config trick before on games such as Turok Rage Wars and hadn't had a problem. I was just wondering if any one else has that problem and found a solution or a config to get around it. I dont know if its because Im using a PS1 controller as opposed to a N64 controller (I doubt it). I find the reverse aim controls really confusing when shooting unless im playing a flying game (I guess it must be all those years playing Star Fox) but then again maybe thats just me.

Also, is there any mods for CBFD? I would like to able to change the AI enemy characters and change the greenish blood of the teddys to red and it would be great if there was more multiplayer levels, etc. I checked out all the CBFD threads and looked at some cheats sites but apart from seeing someone making a Conkers sequel (I wonder how thats going...) i couldnt find anything.

the multiplyer is awsome but some stuff u cant change like the green blodd which is really oil and some of ur problems could be because of ur controller

Pity, cos its my favourite game (At the moment) and a true classic.

I also worked out that reversing the up/down config has nothing to with the problem of the forward/backward controls being disabled when you're without a weapon - its just a strange little anomaly which is part of the game...i guess. I still, though, find it difficult toggling beteewn both forward/backward controls and using the forward/reverse camera controls - it can sometimes gets confusing which one to use.

Edit: How do you activate the laser when you use the sniper gun? I know how to use the zoom in/out but i cant see the red laser comming out of my gun! I read somewhere in a cheat site about activating the laser so i know its not my imagination - all the AI enemy dont seem to have a problem - an cos i never played the game on the N64 i dont know if you can.

Please, could someone just reply to let me know? Its driving me nuts! (No pun intended)
