I was just wondering what the difference was between .bin and .smd files.
I was just wondering what the difference was between .bin and .smd files.
If they have been renamed correctly, then .bin is deinterleaved and .smd is interleaved, so .bin is prefered.
The .bin extension has been replaced by .gen in GoodGEN 3.00.
I see. Would you happen to know what the .bin and .smd acronyms stand for?
BIN = Binary
SMD = Super Magic Drive
Cool, thanks Clements.
