Can't put in cheats!!!

someone help! for some reason PJ64 is no longer letting me input cheats and hacks! when i right click the game in teh rom directory and select edit cheats, then right click in the cheats menu, the button to add the new cheat is no longer accessible, wuts goin on?!?!

it will not let you add a new cheat untill you have it typed correctly. make shure it looks like this(with the actual numbers and letter of cource)
???????? ???? and if you have a second line make shure that u go to the next line down.
...........^make shure there is a space right here also and make shure you have no extra letters, numbers, or spaces.
