Tutorial: extracting VRML models- Where to find?

Where I can find a tutorial that show exactly:



what emulator are the most indicated;
the plugin that do the magic;
how to exactly install and configurate the plugin;
the process of exporting the models(how i know the program are exporting the models, where it is sending the files, etc);

well, all the details to sure extract the so dreamed models.
Somebody know the awser to ths question?
