    Error With Shenmue

    Hi! When a start CD1 of Shenmue in ChanKast appears a new Window with the tittle "IoControl" that says "Error". What is the problem?
    Before i was cleaning the memory. That could be influenced?

    it's a bad dump of a .cdi file find another one or make one yourself

    And how i can make one ?

    first of all what is tyhe file ext and you will have look how to make a selftbooter yourself

    The image is not necessarily corrupt. Try to mount the image with Daemon Tools 3.29 since it *supposedly* handles images a bit differently, sometimes preventing IoControl errors.

    I Have the last version of Daemon Tools,but the problem continues.

    I've tried later versions of Daemon as well, and I've had problems. Using v3.29 seems to fix the problem. Try that. Also, look for "CDcheck" and "CDmage." Use CD check to see if the disk is corrupt in any way. If it is, then try to repair it using CDmage. Keep a backup though, because CDmage might make no difference, and it's better to have the original than to have one that's altered (since CDmage will modify the image it scans). Hope that helps.     The problem may be in CD1 ,because i can open the others CD's, only CD1 has that problem.

    I used CDCheck and the CD has 2 problems. Now how I use CDmage to repair ?
