if you mount the image does it display the files of the image as a Audio CD? or data. if it view as an audio CD then its the image. when i was using CDrecord i found using -xa1 option didn't work and it just viewed as a audio CD but using -xa worked fine...

ok, you can try loading an image of a bootdisk.
    [DC] Utopia Bootdisk v1.1 [CCD].rar
open alcohol, load the image DC Utopia 1.1, start chankast, when it loads up go back to alcohol (keeping chankast still open), double click on doa2 image, it'll load up automatically into chankast.

    hopes this helps.

just a note, dont expect to play this game faster than 25 frames per second (35 at the most), unless you have a really really fast cpu.

Which one works faster ? The japanese LE version or the simple ones ?
And how much cpu do you need to get it at a playable speed ?

i've actually run both, they both ran at about the same speed.

to get the LE to work i had to remove the Echelon opening.

i did read here on the forums of someone actually running doa2 LE at full 60 frames, but they had a 3.8 processor. and they were also overclocking chankast, you do it by hitting the + or - button on the number pad of keyboard

You're going to get banned with a post like that... At least, if that's what I think it is. I highly recommend changing it, or something... Mouser X out.

    The game is slow.

    You better remove that link.
