    memory editing and disabled characters

this isn't really a programming question but i'm not sure where to ask this..
but anway my question is: there is this pc game and when you type in your desired name some special characters are disabled but others work... is there anyway to bipass it via a memory editor of the process/exe. im using a pc trainer maker as you might call it.. or what else can i use to do this

so if you have any idea please help
    thanks

Can you not find the string you input for your name in the registry or a configuration/save file and edit it there? Just a thought.

    nope tried both...

there is no text string of the inputted name. this is why im seeing if i can add the desired characters via the memory editor bypassing the character lock if its possible

you see when you edit your name, you type it in the box but it isnt saved until you click the ok button.. so if i put text in without saving is that text in the memory somewhere so i can edit it through an editor?
