no sound at all with chankast

hey all!
i'm using chankast on win xp sp2, i have an amd 64 3200 with an asus a8b-e mobo, all drivers are latest and installed. i run psx games on epsxe without problems, n64 roms, mame roms, listen to music on my pc. but with chankast i get no sound at all.. no matter what i do...
any ideas please? i'm working on it for 3 days and i can't find anything...

what games are you trying to run?

from doa2, crazy taxi, soul calibur, rayman 2, many games..
no sound! please help me

have u altered any of the plugins. also which virtua cd drive are u using?

i didn't alter anything.. i tried using both the xxx driver and the aspi one..

Get inside the bios(select the cdrom drive with no disc inside and start chankast),go to settings and see what's there in the sound tab and modify it .

i checked that too, i have sound output stereo.. still, i get no sound
this is wierd.

I assume you tried switching to mono ,too .
Try another sound driver and Daemon Tools 3.29 .

well i tried that aswell. i tried other windows drivers for my soundcard. i tried mounting the image with daemon tools. still chankast is the only program which gives me no sound no matter what i do...

Have you tried all versions of Chankast ?
0.2 ,0.2a,0.25,0.25.6.5 (hack),Chankast Utilities(hack)?
