It seems that Lino has released a new version of iDeaS, and it also seems that it hasn't caught on yet...
I'm very optimistic right now cos I'm sure that there will be a substantial improvement to the last, even if the touchscreen is still not perfect. I mean just seeing that Castlevania can get a lot further now and that Polarium is doing something that is meant to be just like on the original NDS, I believe the number of games marked as Doesn't Work will hopefully go down (assuming you have used the Flash Database before.
I would recommend obtaining these bios (though I am not totally sure yet how much use they are) Cos I've been told that iDeaS does use them to a somewhat point.
Also, I will do the same thing ninja1 did with the DeSmuME 0.3.3 Compatibility List (ie keeping all the game tests in a single post), cos I think it is a brilliant idea and it would make the task of putting it into an XML very much easier.
AND if we can get at least 175 games tested by the weekend (which is about 50%) I will try and get the Flash database fully (or close to it) functional, ie with search functions AND cover images. And I'll even get started on game descriptions as well (though I'm a little disapointed no one replied to my request for game description submissions, see HERE).
Now I might sound like this is all no big job at all or anything, well it isn't really, it's just that I've got things like school work to do which cannot be left aside. But I think that if I really put the effort in I could get it all done by Sunday afternoon, I would just need a reason to put that extra effort in (hence getting half the games tested).
So if you would like me to try and get my Flash database in order ASAP or you would just like a challenge. I want to see if 50% of the games can be tested by Saturday afternoon. Can It Be Done??
