I think I found the solution to the Banjo-Tooie No controller problem

As stated in the topic title I think I have a solution. When you download a rom you usually play the one that has (U) in its file name, well insted play the one with (E) in its file name and you shouldn't have a problem.

You should play the (U) rom, regardless of your own region. Unless you really want to play the game in french or german.

i had the same problem, but i noticed i had enabled rumble pack instead of memory pack so i changed it to memory and the no controller shit was gone.

by the way you should prefer roms with [!] as they are accepted as GOOD dumps.

I always play the (U) one but that one didn't work, so I tried the (E) one and it worked.

The (U) version works quite flawlessly over here, so I don't really know what exactly causes your problem.
