please help!

well i mod. closed my last thread, but what he told me really didnt help. i am trying to get started w/ PJ64 and i have 2 roms, both in 7z format. i highlighted a rom and went to file, but there was no option to unzip it. i have unziped things before, and know how to. what then is the problem? please help me get these roms in the right format, and with more than just a few word answer. thanks!

You obviously have never seen a 7-zip archive before. WinRAR can extract them. Case closed.

Google WinRAR. It is very well known archiving utility.

ok... i downlloaded that whole huge thing and i have mario kart running... but whats are all those files? there are like 15 15000 k files in there, do i need them all?

pacmantoaster, really, you're being too lazy. Why don't try things yourself first before start to make another useless thread like this one? This forum has bilions of questions like yours, you could also use the search feature to find em. Also the moderator has answered you correctly first time you asked, no need to blame on him and ask the same thing again.

As for your problem, any of the extracted files will work. They're just from different regions.

Unless possible bad dumps have been included as well into the merged set.
